**INTRODUCTION**:
Our client, an established and reputable company located in Kempton Park area, is seeking a _Dynamic, Energetic, Enthusiastic “Go-Getter” with excellent communication skills, that wants to grow and learn to fill the position of _**_Payroll Administrator_** (responsible for Payroll and Benefits Administration Duties).
**SUMMARY OF ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Responsible for various Benefits administration responsibilities.
- Payroll processing
- Responsible for Time and Attendance administration responsibilities.
- Ensure that the confidentiality of all personnel details relating to remuneration and other HR issues is maintained.
- Enforce Company specific leave policies.
- Efficiently manage Leave Administration within the framework of the BCEA.
- Perform any other duties as required
**Benefits Administration Duties will include**:

**_Medical Aid, GAP Cover and Medical Insurance Administration: _**
- Responsible for all the Medical Aid, GAP Cover and Medical Insurance administration;
- Compile a contribution schedule for processing in the Payroll
- Ensure payments to medical aid, GAP cover and Medical Insurance are made on time and correctly
- Assist with Gap Cover claims
- Arrange annual Medical Aid sessions for staff
- Processing of Rand Mutual Assurance (IOD Claims and other policies)
**_ Pension Fund, Income Protection (Disability) Cover, Death Cover, Funeral Cover, MEIBC, Provident Fund Scheme Risk Benefits: _**
- Compile the monthly remittances including the Pension Fund new member packs and also including the Income Protection/Disability Policy and Funeral Policy Remittances of the company
- Ensure payment by the Finance Department is made correctly and on time
- Submit the monthly remittances to Funds, new member packs with proof of payments on or before the 7th of every month to Brokers
- Assist with Pension Fund queries
- All administration on Death Claims
- All administration on Funeral Claims
- Administration of Pension Fund and Provident Fund Withdrawal Claims (assist employees, at the time of leaving our service, in the process of withdrawal from or transfer out of our Fund, including retirements)
- Ensure the receipt of Pension Fund Nomination of Beneficiary document, Spousal Life Cover document and Funeral Fund Dependants document from new members
- Receive changes with regard to Spousal Life Cover and forward to Brokers or Insurances.
- Administer annual Nomination of Beneficiary update
- Administer annual reminder to employees to update their Funeral Fund Dependants document
- Arrange annual Investment Option Information Sessions, collect change of option documents and submit to the brokers.
**_UIF: _**
- Assist employees with any claims from the Unemployment Insurance Fund.
**_P_ayroll Administration: _**
- Processing of all payroll inputs for specific business unit employees
- Travel allowance and Business Travel for employees with fixed travel allowances from Finance and Managers.
- Garnishee and Maintenance orders administration.**_ _**
**Time & Attendance Duties will include**:
- Responsible for leave administration i.e. process leave transactions on Payroll system;
- Generate Quarterly Leave Reports and forward to Management
- Prepare ad hoc leave reports as requested by Managers
- Discuss any leave discrepancies/problems with the HR Manager
- Complete the weekly Attendance Register Any other duties as delegated by Management.
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCE**:
- Grade 12 and Payroll Diploma or related qualification
- 2 to 5 years relevant experience
- Friendly, energetic, team player personality type
- Knowledge of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act, the Compensation for Occupational Injury and Diseases Act, the Unemployment Insurance Act and the Skills Development Act.
- Knowledge of the Income Tax Act.
- Previous experience with VIP Payroll and Sage +-200 people, Medical Aid and Pension Fund Reconciliations essential.
- Excellent Communication Skills.
- Perform all duties to the latest ISO 9001Requirements.
- Function as part of a Team.
- Ensure total confidentiality of all information, internal and external, pertaining to the business, all its Employees and Management.
