**MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB**:

- As part of the strategic ICT Leadership team you will be expected to drive the Digital Transformation of business operations and enterprise services.
- Broaden the leadership of ICT function at divisions, as well as actively supporting the divisional CIO with the daily ICT operations and projects and contributing to the realisation of the Group ICT strategy.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS**
- Direct functional responsibilities, (e.g. research, develop and implement Business Systems Strategy; architect and lead the identification, implementation, maintenance and enhancement of all systems within this portfolio of solutions to meet the business needs)
- Within the portfolio of systems and business area:

- Direct and coordinate ICT divisional plan and budget
- Identify, direct and manage demand for ICT services from business
- Coordinate and monitor the portfolio of ICT (business of today) projects
- Investigate and realise ICT synergies across the Group
- Ensure visibility and adherence to Group ICT standards and policies
- Deal with Group level ICT responsibilities as assigned from time to time
- Lead and manage direct reports within the team

**REQUIRED EDUCATION**:

- **ESSENTIAL**_

Relevant degree (e.g. BSc Informatics, BSc Computer Science, BCom Information Systems) or similar B- degree

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE**:

- **MINIMUM **_

At least 10 years in managing an ICT team/unit and a team of technical specialists

**DESIRED EXPERIENCE**

Track record of transforming an ICT organization/unit into a high performing, modern, agile and responsive function.

**REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**
- Contract negotiation and management
- Demonstrate understanding of healthcare industry operations
- Demonstrate understanding of system development life cycle (SDLC)
- Experience with budget management, strategy development & deployment through various service delivery models (operational delivery, shared services & centres of expertise), infrastructure governance (incl. TCO & vendor management and personnel management)
- People Management
- Problem analysis and solving
- Project and Portfolio Management
- Risk management, including ICT governance and cyber security
- Setting business objectives and strategies
- Strategic business acumen and a sound understanding of business principles
- Strategy development
- Enterprise project and change management (incl. project steering committee)
