Chemicals Salesperson - Foundation Stone Products

Key Responsibilities:

- Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop business opportunities within suitable industrial sectors
- Increase sales revenue and market share.
- Execute a sales plan to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with our clients’ purchasing and operational teams.

- Product & Market Knowledge
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our products, pricing, and competition.
- Liaise with GM to stay informed on new products and innovations.
- Reporting & Administration
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and forecasts.
- Prepare regular sales reports and market intelligence for management review.

Qualifications:

- Matric with 5 years relevant experience.
- Industry related sales, marketing, or business development qualifications

**Experience**:

- 5 years of proven sales experience in specific or related technical/industrial field.
- Familiarity with chemical distribution, specialty chemicals, or process industries.

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong technical sales ability.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated with strong time management.
- Ability to interpret technical documents such as SDSs, TDSs, and specs.
- Proficient in using software, Excel, and business productivity tools.
- Willingness to travel locally or regionally as required.

Performance Metrics:

- Sales revenue and gross margin targets achieved.
- Customer retention and satisfaction levels.
- Growth in market share and new account acquisition.

Pay: R10 000,00 - R30 000,00 per month

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Industrial Sales: 5 years (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)

License/Certification:

- Code 8 (required)

**Location**:

- Cape Town, Western Cape (City of Cape Town) (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)
