What will you do?
This is a management position that forms part of the MANCO. The role is accountable for the product/business analysis and solutions that drive the strategy within MiWayLife.
**Key responsibilities are**:

⦁ Customer profiling/segmentation (data analytics and insights generation)
⦁ Product management and development
⦁ Financial modelling and actuarial modelling, and valuations
⦁ Technology and innovation enablement
⦁ People management
⦁ Strategic Partnerships
What will make you successful in this role?
**Qualification & experience**:
⦁ Actuarial or statistical science degree
⦁ Product development/quantitative modelling experience within Financial Services (5 years+)
⦁ Management experience (middle/senior), 3 years+
Knowledge and skills
**IT**:
**⦁ MS**: Office Excel (advanced)
**⦁ MS**: Word, PP, Outlook, Access
⦁ SQL/Python
⦁ Technology capabilities and digital trends
⦁ BI tools
⦁ Enterprise and technology architecture
**Business**:
⦁ Sound financial services industry knowledge
⦁ Relevant regulatory legislation and compliance knowledge
⦁ Understanding of the fundamentals of a Life company
⦁ Sound knowledge of different financial services models, companies and entities
⦁ Distribution Strategy and Models
⦁ Digital and alternative distribution operations (including call centres)
⦁ Business planning, reporting and strategy development/execution
⦁ Business and financial metrics (EVP, VNB, profitability, expense ratio etc)
⦁ Corporate governance/risk management
⦁ Policy management
⦁ Quantitative modelling/analytics/data management
⦁ Product structure, pricing, premium, features, profitability
⦁ Underwriting/Claims
⦁ Statistical analysis
⦁ Client profiling and behavioural modelling
