Our client has been successfully developing and implementing renewable energy projects since 1996. They currently realise installations with a total annual investment of around 500 million euros. More than 700 employees worldwide work with enthusiasm on site acquisition, planning, engineering, financing and the construction of wind and solar energy plants for a sustainable energy supply, and they provide operational management and maintenance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage wind and solar projects in South Africa from site acquisition, planning, engineering and permitting to construction
- Support the project team during auctions and sales processes
- Identify new project sites and negotiate lease agreements with landowners
- Check network access options and evaluate them from a technical, legal and commercial perspective
- Commission and coordinate external service providers and local partners
- Support business development and networking
- Manage due diligence processes during the project acquisition phase

**Your profile**:

- A degree in environmental sciences, engineering, geography or similar
- At least five years of professional experience
- You have professional experience with the development of renewable energy projects in South Africa
- Experienced in project management
- Fluent English
- You are a skilled and confident negotiator
- You think like an entrepreneur
- Your working method is action-oriented and effective
- Willing to travel regularly

- Bachelors (required)
