We are looking for an on-site, experienced hospitality focused manager, with strong administrative skills, to host tastings and manage a luxury vineyard villa in a diverse and interesting role that includes villa marketing, wine tastings, guest relations and general administration.

Focused responsibility for the villa will be on the following:

- Drive Occupancy Levels through Sales of Room Nights.
- Running all social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram & Twitter), sending out a quarterly newsletter (MailChimp).
- Develop Local Agent Relationships through regular visits and occasional international buyer base visits in line with international fair visits.

**Day To Day Operations (VILLA)**:

- Manage hospitality staff on a day to day basis - Housekeeping, Maintenance & Garden. Ensure that the Villa is always neat and kept up to standard working with the cleaning team to maintain the villa to guest level whether the owners are in residence or whether guests are. Coordinating and overseeing owners/guests stays, events and experiences at the Villa. Oversight of villa operations and functioning of equipment/lights/etc. Manage rare concierge service for guests on demand and provide services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention.

**Day To Day Operations (WINE BUSINESS)**:

- Day to day operation of the marketing plan. Define target customers and build databases for local and export wine sales supporting fulfilment sales. Preparation of orders and completion of export documentation.
- Experience in creating quotes and invoicing; as well as keeping contracts up to date.
- Passion for telling stories: a people person who is able to handle informative wine tastings occasionally. Proactive communication with guests to ensure queries are answered and requests are met at the earliest opportunity to ensure an ultimate experience.
- Weekly written reports to be sent to Management.

**Key qualifying criteria**
- 3 years’ experience within the 5 star hotel and hospitality industry.
- Great communication skills, can manage and work with a team. Liaising with new clients. Building database of clients.
- Wine knowledge: Cape Wine Academy or WSET level 2, minimum. Interest in doing tastings and speaking passionately about wine. Being social with clients.
- Ability to work well under pressure - remain calm, patient, diplomatic and tactful.
- Highly skilled at self - management and time management.
- Flexible, attention to detail, ability to anticipate needs and able to multi task.
- High sales drive and marketing background.
- Excellent computer literacy skills (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)

**Salary**: R10,061.00 - R30,000.00 per month
