Health Clinic Sister

We are looking for a Health Nurse to work Monday to Friday 7h30 to 13h00 in our onsite Occupational Health Clinic.

**Health Clinic Sister Responsibilities include**:

- Coordination and establishment of quality and efficient care to employees.
- The applicant must be able to examine the patient, diagnose ailment and dispense the necessary medication or refer patient to Day Hospital or Doctor.
- The applicant must be Computer literate and able to do Stock orders and exercise proper stock storage and control.
- The applicant must be able to give First Aid when dealing with minor injuries on duty and reporting major injuries to Compensation Fund.
- The applicant must be able to think on her feet and make snap decisions,
- able to work as a team for the well-being of employees.
- The applicant will be responsible for the overseeing of First Aiders and restocking of their First Aid Boxes.
- The applicant will be part of the Health and Safety committee and attend regular meetings, work closely with Health and Safety Manager and representatives, to ensure a safe environment for all employees.

**Pre - Requisite**:

- Degree/Diploma in Nursing as Registered Nurse and Midwife
- Diploma in Occupational Health Nursing or Clinical Nurse Practitioner
- Registered with SANC/ SASOHN/DENOSA
- 3 to 5 years experience in this field
- Dispensing License
- Up to date Certificate in Sexual Reproductive Health
- Computer literate in order to communicate all statistics monthly to Department of Health and Executive committee.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Diep River, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
