**My client, a successful Clothing Importer, needs an experienced Clothing Imports Merchandiser who has covered the duties below. Reputable importer of Mens and Ladies Apparel.**
- **Job Description**_
- Sending clear and detailed briefs to each of the factories in China and Bangladesh.
- Negotiating prices with factories to suit buyers’ briefs and target prices.
- Growing business for each department per season through new style developments whilst offering workable prices and on time deliveries.
- Managing the critical path for confirmed orders from confirmation through to delivery.
- Following up with suppliers on lab dip, fit/seal and pre-shipment sample submissions.
- Communicating with suppliers and buying teams on all queries pertaining to orders confirmed and new developments.
- Admin duties such as measuring fit/seal and pre-shipment samples, filing and loading confirmed orders on an internal system and updating information weekly on the internal standstill system.
- Building strong & successful business relationships with buying teams and suppliers - manage 8 different departments across the customer portfolio both in ladies and menswear.
- **Key Requirements**_
- Relevant qualification.
- 2 - 5 years Imports/Sourcing (Clothing) Administrative experience essential.
- Highly organised, excellent attention to detail.
