The painter will be expected to use color theory principles to match shades, followwrittenand verbal instructions, and use a variety of tools to paint surfaces. Other responsibilities include completing minor repairs and selecting the correct paints and primers.

**Key Responsibility Areas, Education & Qualification, Experience Key Responsibility Areas: Core Functions**
- Responsible for painting the exterior and interior areas of a company’s projects
- Execute pre-painting activities, including cleaning, scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, and masking of adjacent surfaces prior to painting, papering, texturing, etc. if required
- Follow management’s instructions in maintaining an inventory of paint and supplies
- Comply with OSHA/MSDS guidelines with respect to the use of hazardous chemicals
- Stay up to date with storage and disposal laws, regulations, codes, etc.
- Carry out after the project cleaning areas, supplies, and equipment at the completion of the project
- Assist in storing leftover paint in the appropriate locations
- Support team with special maintenance projects as needed.
- Collaborating with other design and construction specialists.
**Education & Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience painting residential or commercial spaces.
- 2+ years of experience as a painter
**Job-Related Experience**
- Experience painting residential or commercial spaces.
- Knowledge of all the applicable health and safety standards.

**Job Type**: Permanent
**Salary**: Up to R15,000.00 per month
