**Job Description**:
CHEP is currently recruiting in South Africa for a seasoned Reward Manager (IMETA). The role will support the implementation and maintenance of commercial, compliant, and business-relevant reward strategies, policies and programmes for the Brambles Group in IMETA (India, Middle East. Turkey and Africa). Oversee IMETA rewards and benefits processes and their management to ensure delivery of a high-class benefits package. Augment organizational capability by facilitating the attraction, development, motivation and retention of talented individuals. The incumbent will support with delivery of reward-related advice to HR and the business.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support the Director, Reward in providing guidance and technical advice to business management and the wider HR team on the full range of compensation, benefits and employee share plans matters and respond to enquiries concerning issues of pay, benefits and share plans and assist with alignment to the compensation philosophy.
- Perform job evaluations across the IMETA organisation with reference to Hay/Kornferry grading methodology, requiring full and frequent contact with HR regionally in order to maintain and ensure cross-organisational parity and a consistency in approach to the weighting of levelling factors.
- Work in conjunction with HR Shared Services (AskHR) to ensure the highest level of service delivery to the business is achieved and continuous improvement is maintained with respect to CoE related tasks and policy standards.
- Conduct assessment of market surveys to ensure remuneration programs remain competitive with the marketplace and are fair from an internal equity standpoint across all entities. Prepare and analyse remuneration data, identify market trends, produce market gap analysis and recommend corrective action as required.
- Support the coordination of the annual remuneration review process, produce supporting remuneration material and statistics for Senior Management validation and sign-off. Participate in coordination of the annual remuneration review program.
- Continually monitor and be aware of developments in the legislative and economic environment and keep abreast of market changes, highlighting issues and recommending changes whenever appropriate.
- Conduct analysis, groundwork research and project management on Rem and Ben projects (ie Car allowance review, Zimbabwe inflation salary review, Zim salary payment in USD vs Z$ etc.) and participate in a broad range of Remuneration & Benefits activities.
Minimum Requirements:
Relevant Professional Qualification (HR or Other)
Hay Methodology Certification / Equivalent
Experience in a broad range of remuneration & benefits functions and modern rewards methodologies/ flexible working remuneration principles
Experience using the Hay Job Evaluation System
Consultant and Corporate Rewards experience, ideally gained within a large complex fast-paced global business
Proven project management skills, work organisation & planning skills
Experience in rolling out Rewards and Benefits program
Experience in operating in VUCA markets and rewards practices associated to address such environments.
Preferred Education
Bachelors - Human Resources Management
Preferred Level of Work Experience
5 - 7 years
