IT Auditor

**About the team**:
The Internal Audit Function for Luno (Internal Audit) is responsible for the audit coverage of the organisation. The Internal Audit team consists of the Internal Audit Lead supported by a team of internal auditors to provide independent, reliable, insightful and timely assurance to the Luno board of directors (Board) and Management including the boards and Management of all Luno entities. All Internal Audit staff report to the Internal Audit Lead, who reports functionally to the Risk Committee (as governed by the Terms of Reference), and administratively to the Information Security Officer. We have the vision to provide independent assurance to Luno's customers and interested parties. Our mission is to provide assurance over the effectiveness of Risk Management, Governance and Controls over Luno's global operations. We do this by providing independent, objective and timely assurance on the: Effectiveness of governance; Risk management operations and; Controls over risk.

**The role in a nutshell**:

- Planning of audits in line with the applicable standards
- Identification of risk
- Development and execution of test procedures to verify the design and operational effectiveness of controls
- Prepare quality working papers that meet the required quality standards
- Prepare draft findings and reports of your audit work.

**Your mission will be**:
To independently examine the organisation's IT systems to ensure that adequate and effective controls are in place, and provide recommendations for management to maintain IT risks to an acceptable level.

**A little about you**:

- Must have a tertiary honours degree ( or equivalent) in Internal Audit or Information Technology
- Must have a CISA qualification
- Has experience in data analytics, security reviews and infrastructure reviews
- Experience in Financial Services and Cloud services will be advantageous
