Join us at a time when we are reinventing tech education and how technology can drive higher quality education at scale for markets that have some of the most underperforming tertiary institutions and schools globally. **ABOUT THE ROLE**: HyperionDev seeks a results-driven and customer-focused Performance Marketing Manager to drive its paid media strategy and execution efforts for specific sub-products. The person in this role will ensure that every current and prospective HyperionDev student and client is at all times comprehensively identified and thoughtfully engaged throughout their customer lifecycle. The Performance Marketing Manager will be responsible for the management of all digital marketing channels, diversifying the channel mix using paid social channels and ensuring effective tracking and measurement of campaign-specific results. Ultimately He/She drives the marketing department's commercial performance. He/She will be responsible for the management, performance and development of any 3rd party performance marketing agencies the business might contract with. As a key pillar within the Marketing Team at HyperionDev, you will work with a creative team of peers to produce and distribute the content we create in-house. You in turn will create and drive strategies for how to serve the most compelling marketing to the right audiences on each respective channel. ***: **RESPONSIBILITES**: - Gain in-depth understanding of the consumer attitudes and behaviours of the customers of our various products. - Develop customer personas and build out customer analytics. - Lead and develop a paid media marketing team. - Design, manage, and implement ongoing digital multi-channel campaigns with measurable ROI. - Be very tactical and run all operational and project management components of user acquisition and paid media deliverables. - Own, drive, and report on key metrics related to acquisition, channel performance and channel growth. - Develop recommendations to reach new students through desktop and mobile campaigns, including creative and messaging strategy. - Provide creative input into ad and landing page testing schedules to drive improved campaign results. - Work with sales, development, and product teams to ensure user experience is as frictionless as possible, and make recommendations to improve conversion rates at each step of the user flow. - Innovate meaningful acquisition tests and funnel improvements. - Manage large budgets, analyse and develop campaigns, supervise all acquisition media buying. - Effectively manage deliverables, report campaign performance, communicate expectations with team and stakeholders. - Collaborate with internal teams to align product offerings with customer priorities. **REQUIREMENTS**: - Minimum_ - 4+ years experience developing and optimising large-scale B2C or B2B campaigns - with multi-million rand annual ad spend budgets - through digital marketing channels both paid and organic - Experience managing large cross-functional projects - Experience with Google Analytics, Tag Manager & other web analytics tools - Proven analytical and quantitative skills including a strong understanding of online marketing metrics - Action-oriented with a "roll up your sleeves approach" - Strong strategy and analytics skills, with an advanced understanding of success metrics - Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, plus ability to clearly articulate and express complex and sometimes technical ideas to a wide variety of people and groups at any level - Enthusiastic, passionate, and creative; thrives on thinking outside of the box. - Advantageous_ - 2+ years experience with scaling BTL and ATL advertising budgets - 2+ years experience leading the marketing of a product to a
