As a Junior Retail Operations Analyst, your role is to provide crucial support to the Operations Team and the broader organisation by delivering insightful reporting and analysis. This aims to enhance visibility and understanding of operational challenges, offering data-driven insights for informed business decision-making.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor of Commerce in Finance/Mathematics/Statistics or equivalent qualification.

**Skills**:

- Adept at analytical thinking.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in mathematical, accounting, and Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, basic to intermediate formulas, and pivot tables.
- Professional written and spoken communication, tailored for interactions with senior management.
- Strong and clear presentation skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure with flexibility in working hours.
- Proficiency in analysing information and providing well-founded assumptions, findings, and recommendations based on available data.
- Demonstrates discretion when handling confidential information.

**Experience**:

- A minimum of 2 years' experience in an operational, analytical, or financial role.
- Prior experience in the retail sector is preferred, though not mandatory.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Regularly generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports covering various aspects of our P&L and business areas, including Sales, Expenses, Wastage, Profitability, Fastest and Slowest Sellers, and Out of Stocks.
- Provide ad hoc reporting and support for Operations projects to facilitate decision-making.
- Create like-for-like comparisons and monitor the performance of new stores.
- Prepare content and presentations for various meetings, such as monthly GM and Executive meetings.
- Assist in the formulation of the Operations strategy.
- Monitor and report on stores or store sections that are experiencing losses, highlighting areas for management's attention and improvement.
- Develop Dashboards and Scorecards incorporating data from diverse sources.
