**REQUIREMENTS**
- Engineering and/or Commercial Bachelors degree from an accredited University
- English (spoken and written), French advantageous
- A strong engineering / technical sales aptitude and a strong ability to acquire knowledge related to the companys technologies and industry processes.
- 3 5 years experience in Technical Engineering B2B sales, with a focus on aftercare service products and maintenance solutions on capital equipment an advantage.
- Knowledge of asset management / maintenance concepts, industrial supply chain concepts and the relevant optimization approaches
- Confident appearance, strong communication and presentation skills, persuasive and possess excellent negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of Industry 4.0 and digitalization
- Strong business skills
- Foreign trade knowledge and / or experience and
- Sufficient knowledge of contract law to be able to conclude contracts and adapt contract templates
- Possess excellent time management skills and be able to work independently, whilst traveling.
- Willing and available to travel extensively to various Sub-Saharan Countries (Approximately 50% of the time)
**DUTIES**
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of the companys range of equipment and promote aftercare maintenance services, products and technical solutions to existing and potential new customers
- Regularly visit customers' production plants and headquarters to build and maintain strong customer relationships at various levels in the organizations i.e. business owners, plant managers, maintenance leaders, procurement, etc. Ensure customer satisfaction, loyalty and retention
- Ensure all business actions are followed up promptly and diligently.
- Present a professional image of the company, be it in person, or through presentations or other sales tools.
- Proactively and reactively, advise customers on the operation, maintenance and modernization of their installed base.
- Explore customers' business strategies and derive commercial opportunities. Create and implement business development plans for the increase of order income in the areas of spare parts supply, maintenance packages, digital packages, modernization, training, etc.
- Preparing, negotiating and closing business transactions
- Assisting in the monitoring of contractually agreed performance levels
- Collaborate with colleagues within the company to draw from their knowledge and experience
- Responsible for managing, tracking and reporting on Services orders, agreeing on KPIs, order intake, profitability, quotation volume, quotation success rate etc.
- Responsible for the customer order and its transfer to the Order Process Management department
