**The Role**
As Business Line Manager for CPD brands, you will be responsible for overall business result for Chicago Pneumatic, Fuji, Rodcraft and Desoutter brands in South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Job description / Mission:
- To develop and implement a long-term strategy for CPD in South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa, in cooperation with the General Manager and the Division.
- To ensure that the Customer Centre meets its key targets on growth and profitability.
- To motivate, lead, structure and develop the sales team to maximize results.
- To develop and maintain a successful and committed distributor network for each brand.
- To develop solid relationships with key customers and distributors in the CP market segments and Desoutter market segments, mainly MVI final assembly and Tier 1’s.
- Drive transformation within the customer base and focus on value added selling.
- To identify further growth opportunities for CPD and implement an optimized mix strategy, within the different markets in the Sub-Saharan Africa countries (territory management).
- To identify, understand and define customer needs for the different markets, as well as following up on competitor activities and market pricing.
- Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be directly responsible for the P&L of the CPD business lines CPV, CPI and CPS.
**What we expect of you?**
- University education in engineering, sales or marketing plus a minimum of 5 year’s experience across sales and marketing functions
- Experience and a proven track record of successfully leading and motivating a sales organization in the Industry, involving management of distribution partners and the development of customer relationships.
- Past experience in an international environment an advantage.
- Marketing and sales management skills with knowledge and experience of the General
- and Motor Vehicle Industry.
- Good communication skills, outgoing and able to lead and motivate key distributors and a direct sales team.
- Good analytical and technical skills.
- Excellent command of English.
- Thorough understanding of organizational finance and P&L management.
- Driver’s license and willing to travel frequently within the Sub Saharan Africa region.
- Dynamic, result oriented and self-motivating personality with entrepreneurial spirit.
- Good organizational, planning and follow up skills.
- Team player and open-minded personality with good listening skills.
- Strong customer and quality focus with ability to keep commitments, seek feedback and continuously drive customer satisfaction.
- Strong leadership skills, experience with leading a team is a must.
- Strong conflict resolution skills, ability to cooperate and communicate efficiently with colleagues and distribution partners at all levels.
