**Role Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **JDE ERP Implementation Leadership**: Lead and manage JDE ERP implementation projects through all stages, including in-depth requirements gathering, robust process design, meticulous configuration, comprehensive testing, smooth deployment, and ongoing post-go-live support.
- **Manufacturing Optimisation**: As a JD Edwards Functional Consultant specialising in Manufacturing, you will analyse, design, and optimise critical business processes within Manufacturing (procurement, inventory, and supply chain operations), ensuring effective and efficient ERP system integration.
- **Client Engagement & Liaison**: Act as the primary point of contact and liaison between clients and technical teams, adeptly translating complex business needs and functional requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications.
- **Solution Delivery**: Configure and customise JDE modules to align with specific client business processes and industry best practices, ensuring solutions enhance operational efficiency.
- **Training and Support**: Conduct comprehensive training sessions for end-users on JDE functionalities, with a focus on manufacturing modules, to enhance client proficiency and adoption. Provide ongoing support and consultancy to clients, fostering continuous improvement of their operations and system utilisation.
- **Documentation**: Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of client requirements, system configurations, processes, and support activities to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- **Problem Solving**: Proactively identify, analyse, and resolve complex business problems and system issues, ensuring mínimal disruption to client operations.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years' proven experience in ERP systems, with a significant and demonstrable focus on JD Edwards (JDE) implementations, particularly within the manufacturing module. Experience with other modules, such as Finance, is considered a bonus. Exposure to other ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics is also beneficial.
- **Business Process Knowledge**: Strong understanding of manufacturing and supply chain business processes, including but not limited to discrete Manufacturing, process manufacturing, shop floor control, inventory management, procurement, and sales order processing.
- **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members, conveying complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- **Technical Aptitude**: Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) and a quick learner of new software and technologies.
