**Sales Consultant**

**Job vacancy description**:
A roofing company in the building industry in the Helderberg area is looking to employ a sales consultant to join our well-established company.

**Basic duties, but not limited to include**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing clients
- Acquiring new clients on a regular basis in order to increase our value in the market place
- Achieve monthly and quarterly targets
- Manage the sales process from initial enquiry/quotation through to ensuring delivery of materials.

Technical side of the position:

- Read off building plans
- Knowledge of the company's products and that of competitors (training provided)
- Calculate quotes for materials by extracting information from building plans (training provided).
- Note that salary is dependent on experience. Monthly target incentives are added to monthly salary.
- Knowledge of and being able to read off building plans is non-negotiable.
- Good negotiation skills in a competitive market
- At least 3 years' experience in the building industry, with references
- Must have own reliable transport
- Must be fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans
- Must be presentable and articulate.

Starting salary: R15 000 p.m. - R20 000 p.m. depending on experience.

**Salary**: R15,000.00 - R20,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Somerset West, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
