We currently have positions available for tenacious, motivated individuals to join our team at Clever Call as a call centre Loan Underwriter, working in the finance industry, liaising with potential UK customers who are looking to secure a short-term loan.

**What will you be doing?**
- Handling outbound and inbound calls from applicants
- Customer service (helping customers who are having difficulties on the website or with general queries).
- Conducting income and expenditure checks to assess loan affordability.
- Conducting applicant credit searches to ensure they meet criteria.
- Ensuring proof of income has been received where required and accurately calculated.
- Collecting any additional information off the applicant for automated validation check failures (if required)
- Following prescribed processes in accordance with UK ‘FCA’ guidelines

**Skills and Experience we need from you...**
- Working in a call centre environment, ideally with UK based customers
- Working within financial services, knowledge of short-term lending Customer service
- Computer literate
- Fluent English skills - speaking, writing and reading
