**What is the role about?**
This role will be responsible for creating custom reports and analytics using **Workday** report writer, maintaining report libraries, and ensuring accuracy and consistency of data. This role will work closely with client stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and develop reports that provide meaningful insights and analysis, sharing data and insights in line with our privacy and data governance practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting needs
- Understand business processes and have the ability to translate that knowledge into actionable insights in reports
- Create custom reports and analytics using **Workda**y report writer
- Prioritize incoming reporting requests and other work to ensure client needs are met
- Analyze report data and provide significant insights and analysis to stakeholders
- Help to develop and maintain a data dictionary
- Deliver training and support to end-users on how to run and interpret reports, when needed
- Stay ahead of with **Workday's** latest reporting features and functionality
As a VR consultant, you will have the flexibility to manage your own day, as long as you meet your set objectives and client demands. Often your team will be a mix of on-site and remote based members who will connect using IM, video calls and an online ticketing system. Good communication skills and time management is essential for this role.
**What skills are we looking for?**
Our roles are remotely based (even pre-Covid), meaning you will be working from your home office, connecting with your client and team on a daily basis.
To be successful in this type of environment, you will need to have the ability to communicate effectively (in English) with cross-functional teams, explain complex concepts in easy, understandable terms, align HR / business knowledge with Workday functionality, and proactively drive process improvements. You will need to be comfortable with video calls and be proactive in keeping communication channels open with your client and team.
**Must have Skills Required**
- 3+ years of experience with **Workday report writin**g** (advanced reporting, matrix reporting, composite reporting, and calculated fields). BIRT reporting a plus
- ** Must have Prism experience**:
- Knowledge of Workday HCM and Workday reporting required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in data and reporting
- Excellent planning, interpersonal and time management skills with a track record of following through on dedications
**Other Qualifications/Skills that will be beneficial**
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, Human Resources, or a related field and/or equivalent experience
- Human Resource work experience
