**Location**: Parktown North (2km from Rosebank Mall)
**Duration**: Approximately 3 to 6 months
**Hours**: 16 hours per week (Mondays & Thursdays, 09h30 - 17h30)
**Stipend**: R200 - R250 per day
**Start Date**: Mid-March 2025 (flexible)

Are you passionate about education and eager to gain **valuable work experience** while **improving your Maths and English skills**? Our **Kumon Parktown North Internship Program** offers an incredible opportunity for individuals with little to no work experience to develop essential workplace skills while developing their Maths and English skills

**What You’ll Gain**:

- Hands-on experience in an **educational environment**:

- Improved **Maths and English skills** through Kumon worksheets at no cost to you (6 months of learning valued at R15 000)
- General **administration, teamwork, educational support, and time management skills**:

- Knowledge of and experience with KUMON CONNECT (Kumon's own edu-tech offering)
- A **Certificate of Completion** upon finishing the program
- Potential opportunities to work at other Kumon centres or even open your own one day

**Your Responsibilities**:
As an intern, you will gain experience in **all aspects of running a Kumon centre**, including:

- **Marking and recording work** in the Kumon way, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- **Supporting the instructor** with administrative tasks before and during class time
- **Creating a friendly and nurturing environment** that fosters student learning and confidence
- **Learning to work directly with students** through a structured training plan
- **Managing stock**, including stock-taking, placing orders, and unpacking new materials
- **Monitoring and reporting on student progress**, helping to track their development and learning outcomes

**Who We’re Looking For**:

- **Age 18-30** (no prior work experience required)
- **Key Traits**: Patience, reliability, a good sense of humour, attention to detail, and a passion for education
- **Must be able to travel to our centre at your own expense**

**Future Opportunities**:
While there’s no guarantee of a permanent position, this internship **can open doors** to roles at other educational centres.

**Important Information**:

- **This internship is offered exclusively at Kumon Parktown North Study Centre** and is **NOT valid at any other Kumon centre**.
- This program is **independent of Kumon Education SA**, and no claims may be made against them regarding this internship.
