Clothing Quality Auditor and Controller

An established design house specializing in manufacturing clothing requires a qualified quality controller/auditor with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.

**Requirements**:

- An enthusiastic, neat, organized professional, who has effective communication and writing skills.
- It is important to understand the fit and flow of fashion garments.
- Must be able to read tech packs or style sheets and conceptualise into garments with a good understanding of garment construction.
- Must be able to interact with the pattern maker, sample co-ordinator, merchandisers, production planners and other relevant team members to ensure the desired garments are executed.
- Must have knowledge of measurements on garments related to chain stores.
- Be able to troubleshoot on garment patterns and production related issues inhouse and at CMTs.
- Must visit CMT companies on a continuous basis to check online quality and measurements and be able to check in house and CMT quality of garments inside and out including garments trimmings, ensuring chain store standards are met.
- Must be able to work on the computer and do spec sheets/fit reports along with measurements as well as other QA customer workbooks.
- Also be able to carry out QA reports while goods are online and end line as well as AQL reports and other relevant paperwork.
- Driver’s licence is a good bonus
