Night Auditor/receptionist

The purpose of the position is to correspond with local and international guests at the property and to balance the daily revenue report.

**Minimum Experience and Qualification Required**:

- Grade 12
- 2-3 years’ experience in a 5-star hotel or similar environment
- Excellent communication in English (Verbal and written)
- Solid understanding of front of office environment
- Computer Literacy
- Additional Foreign language (beneficial).
- Must be willing to work shifts
- Numerical acumen
- Attention to detail
- Good knowledge of the OPERA system

**Key Performance Objectives**:

- Handle guest inquiries in a professional and effective manner:

- Ensure knowledge of hotel room categories and layout of the property
- Ensure knowledge of different offerings at the property
- Resolution of customer complaints.
- Take ownership of all issues encountered during the night shift,
- Management of guest accounts:

- Pit checks to be done on each shift daily
- Balance daily revenue reports,
- Ensure that all reports get distributed to different department heads daily,
- Operate the hotel’s Property Management System: OPERA Cloud,
- Check guest in upon arrival and check them out upon departure,
- Ability to room guest upon arrival,
- Operate the switchboard and direct calls,
- Restaurant bookings and hotel reservations, and
- Liaise effectively between departments.
