An up-market dealership is looking for a **Debtors | Cashbook Clerk** to join their team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for all debtors related queries
- Maintain daily debtor's cash up
- Reconcile accounts
- Follow up and clearing of reconciling items
- Process the cash book timeously and accurately
- Review cashbook to ensure no errors nor duplicated transactions
- Ensure all transactions are recorded in the correct amount, period, allocation and are valid
- Process payments from bank statements
- Petty-cash transactions
- Daily cash management
- Update and maintain debtors system
- Monthly & daily transfer of credit & correct refunds on accounts with journals
- Collect outstanding accounts
- Maintain accounts & correspondence for accounts
- Before month end, ensure totals & corrections are accurate
- Running month-end
- Process credits
- Data verification

**Requirements**:

- Must have at least 3 years experience as a Debtors Clerk / Accounts Receivable role
- Must have prior Automotive Industry experience
- Autoline / Kerridge or Automate experience is a ESSENTIAL
- Advanced knowledge in MS Excel is essential
- Computer literate
- Financial acumen
- Ability to work in a highly pressured & fast paced environment
- Team player
