**PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**:Ensuring that all clients receive the best customer experience, answering and transferring of calls & smooth running of meetings and the BOH operation. Supporting the Hospitality manager to deliver on functions and events as well as financial processes.

**RESPONSIBILITIES ARE AS FOLLOWS**:

- Open building and disable alarms
- Manage switchboard
- Manage meeting rooms and ensure fully operational
- Ensure all meeting room schedules are managed successfully.
- Work with IT to ensure all provided vidicon and telecon systems are tested and fully operational.
- Greet and seat all clients whilst following strict hospitality protocols.
- Manage office stationery needs
- Assist in supporting Amdec House facilities operations.
- Financial administration to support our financial processes for hospitality suppliers.
- Assist in managing courier services and post
- Work closely with the Hospitality manager with running the building, CSI events and corporate and social events.

**REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES**:

- South African citizens only
- Fluent in English (required)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Ability to work without supervision and meet deadlines and work within a team
- Hospitality experience (advantageous)
- Relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous)
- **Own Transportation essential**

**LOCATION**: Amdec House (18 Silverwood Close, Steenberg Office Park, Tokai)

**WORKING HOURS (SHIFTS)**: Monday to Friday (07:00 - 16:00 / 08:00 - 17:00 / 09:00 - 18:00)

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Tokai, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Receptionist / front of desk: 1 year (required)
