Human Capital Information Specialist

Design, develop and implement an effective Human Capital analytical framework, dashboard, scorecards and process to support current and future business reporting requirements
- Create and maintain the foundational insights databases and provide support for ad hoc analytics
- Document guidelines and ‘rules’ of models to ensure consistency in implementation, build and house a knowledge base for greater effectiveness in specific HC areas
- Provide predictive and prescriptive analytics and modelling to assist in identifying opportunities and risks within the HC environment, deliver business value
- Proactively manage the updating and refining of models / analysis following agreed timelines to ensure relevancy to meet the business needs
- Provide data driven insights and articulate data findings and trends in analytical management reporting (including graphs, charts and tables) and visual presentation formats, pertaining to:
- Compile and provide relevant / current HC metric reporting packs for submission to key stakeholders
- Influence the standard reporting framework to be applied for HC reporting, to ensure consistency of reporting across the business
- Review new report requests pertaining to HC analytics, to ensure alignment with the HC analytical framework
- Drive digital transformation in reporting and information analytics
- Provide active support to the business to enhance analytical reporting capability across AECI (South Africa and International)
- Supports the leadership team to identify business challenges and use data analysis to help influence changes to operations, process or programs
- Facilitate synergy and coordination across the business with Human Capital, Finance, IT and service providers to support HC business reporting requirements
- Serve as HC analytical lead for special projects and assignments
- Provide coaching and training to HC community on use and interpretation of metrics
- Actively build relationships and network with business teams and line management
Develop and maintain appropriate analytical benchmarks with other organisations, working as the key representative to the external benchmarks and key surveys supporting HC Shared Services Centre
**Duties & Responsibilities**

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Matric
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Information Management or in the mathematical field such as Statistics, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics or related field
- 8 years’ experience in business intelligence, data mining and analytics within the Human Capital environment
- International experience in business intelligence, data mining and analytics within the Human Capital environment (advantageous)
