Head of Patient Services

**Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Managing the technical and financial aspects of the Patient Services Department such as performing patient searches, compiling reports to transplant centres and invoicing.
- Ensuring adherence to administrative, ethical, and legal requirements of the Patient Services Department.
- Overseeing personnel in the Patient Services Department.
- Managing the Patient Assistance Programme.
- Building and maintaining conducive relationships with stakeholders, which includes ad hoc travelling.
- Compiling and facilitating presentations, including statistics and other reports.
- Compliance with the relevant SABMR and WMDA standards, recommendations, and guidelines, including the compilation of and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures.
**Qualifications**:
- HPCSA Registration
- Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist
**Experience**:
- At least five years of relevant managerial experience
- Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
**Other**:
- Valid Driver’s License
