Renewable Energy E-commerce Consultant

**About the E-Commerce Solar Consultant**

We are looking for an experienced e-Commerce Solar Consultant for our Residential Energy Division in Richmond Park, Cape Town. As an e-Commerce Solar Consultant, you will create quotes and orders created from our extensive customer base for the Western Cape region. You will organize, quote, and execute website enquiries.

**Please note**: this is an on site position at our Richmond Park offices in Cape Town.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist current and potential customers that will be doing business through our e-Commerce websites/portals.
- Update customer database with contact details and interest information from prospective customers.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge about product information and promotions.
- Respond to customer queries promptly and professionally.
- Provide excellent services and ensure customer satisfaction
- Stay abreast with online marketing trends and competitors
- Monitor changes in product sales by using web analytics and Excel spreadsheets (pivot tables, vlookups, etc) to stay organized.
- Attend sales training and educational programs for professional development.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of a Matric/NQF 4 equivalent **required**:

- Minimum of 2+ years experience gained in a fast-paced, e-Commerce business.
- Experience within the Renewables Solar industry highly preferred
- Hands-on experience in managing and maintaining e-Commerce websites/portals.
- Computer literacy - highly Computer literate and comfortable using Excel Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP's etc.
- Knowledgeable of the e-Commerce space that includes marketing strategies, various leading e-Commerce website builders (e.g. Shopify), product development, competitive strategies, consumer research, industry trends and usability best practices.
- Knowledge of various platforms and online sales strategies and can be used to conduct digital sales or website conversions.
- Familiarity with web design and a keen eye to detail.
