Position Overview: The Business Intelligence Analyst will play a crucial role in enhancing data-driven decision-making processes within the organisation. Your primary responsibility will be to analyse complex datasets and generate valuable insights that will drive operational and strategic initiatives. Working closely with various departments, including finance and operations, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of the business intelligence infrastructure, ensuring the efficient flow of accurate information to support key business objectives. A solid understanding of agricultural processes and basic accounting principles will be essential for this role. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Conduct comprehensive analysis of data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for operational improvement and cost optimization. - Develop and maintain robust BI dashboards, reports, and visualisations to facilitate informed decision-making across different business units. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis. - Participate in the design, implementation, and management of data extraction to ensure data accuracy and integrity. - Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to the agricultural sector and develop tracking mechanisms to monitor and evaluate business performance. - Provide support for financial analysis and budgeting activities, leveraging your basic understanding of accounting principles to assist in financial data interpretation and reporting. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in BI tools and technologies, implementing best practices to enhance data analytics capabilities within the organisation. - Implement solutions and improvements at production units and pack-houses. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: - A relevant tertiary qualification in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field. - Demonstrated experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization, preferably within the agricultural or related industry. - Strong proficiency in BI tools such as QlikView, with the ability to transform complex data into clear and actionable insights. - Basic understanding of accounting principles to interpret financial data and support financial analysis processes. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. - Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and the ability to solve complex problems using data-driven approaches. **TO APPLY, please**: - Click on the "Apply" button or
