**Key Responsibilities**:
Guest Experience Excellence
Ensure the lodge consistently exceeds guest expectations and maintains its world-class reputation.
Collaborate with all departments to provide seamless, personalised service.
Address guest needs promptly, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Service & Bar Operations
Oversee the daily operations of the service, bar, and butler teams.
Monitor quality, presentation, and service standards at all times.
Maintain a well-organised stock room and adhere to health and safety protocols.
Stock & Procurement
Manage ordering, deliveries, and invoicing for the service and bar departments.
Keep accurate stock records, monitor usage, and minimise waste.
Ensure required stock levels are maintained at all times.
Team Leadership
Lead, motivate, and coach the service team to achieve operational goals.
Maintain discipline, organisation, and high morale within the team.
Assist with recruitment, training, and ongoing development of staff.
Financial Control
Work with the Lodge Manager to maintain budgets and control costs.
Contribute to achieving the lodge’s financial and operational targets.
Package & Benefits
**Salary (Dependent on experience)**:
R19 268.75 (including benefits) - Cash R14 500 + Provident + Medical Aid + Gratuities.
**Additional Benefits**:
**Housing**: R3 000
**Meals**: R1 408.55
Provident Fund contribution (7.5%).
50% Medical Aid contribution (capped at R2 000).
Discretionary 13th cheque (R13 500 - R14 500).
**Work Cycle**:
6 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation.
Accommodation, on-duty meals, and uniform provided.
Minimum 3 years’ experience leading a service team in a luxury hospitality environment.
At least 5 years’ experience in a high-end safari lodge.
Grade 12 / Matric (Hospitality qualification an advantage).
Excellent command of English (a second language advantageous).
Strong organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Solid food, menu, and basic wine knowledge.
Computer literacy and familiarity with reservation systems.
