- **Job description**:

- This is an opportunity to join a well-established office and join the research and trading team in a **junior position**. We require an individual to join our team as a Research Analyst. In this role where you will provide administrative as well as technical support to existing team members, assist with data collection for research and provide portfolio performance feedback reports. You will be required to contribute to our research process with regards to companies, markets, funds and securities.
- **Responsibilities**:

- Administrative support to the team
- Data collection for research reports.
- MS Excel skills are essential as a large part of the program will require modelling and screening on excel. Administrative functions also requires the analysis and interpretation of large data sets.
- Assist with the performance reporting of client portfolios.
- Analysis of company results.
- Portfolio Management - you will be required to manage client portfolios
- Trading - you will be expected to trade on behalf of clients and implement trade instructions.
- Customer Service
- Client Relationship Management
- Handling and solving of client enquiries
- Preparing proposals and analysing current of client portfolios
- Diary management
- You will be required to complete the following: JSE Registered Traders Examination- **Minimum requirements**:

- CFA Affiliated **BCom Hons** (Finance / Investments / Accounting / Economics) with Econometrics as module (must graduate by April 2026).
- RE5 completed
- Proficient in both spoken and written English, and at least one other of the official South African languages
- Computer literacy (MS Office)- **Competencies required**:

- Strong Administration, Organising and planning skills
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving
- Analytical skills and able to analyse large data sets and interpret.
- Ability to operate independently
- Resilience
- Team player - you will operate in a team environment thus a having a keen interest in learning new skills will be an advantage
