**What you will enjoy doing**:

- Ensure that the prepared material (RM, MB, Secondary packaging, that is not automatically fed to the production machines) is transported from the respective Warehouse location where it was prepared to the assigned handover point from where production personnel take it.
- Manage internal transports Warehouse operations.
- Ensure stock movement between warehouse and production (whether FG or RM warehouse)
- Oversee Finished Goods warehouse operation
- Manage transports: by preparing, loading, administering cargo, ensure load securing and load truck
- Ensure all the external administrative work with forwarding companies and internal work related to AlplaProd and NAV is done.
- Ensure that your direct reports are competent (well-trained) and committed through continuous communication, regular oversight and active support of your team
- Ensure that an established organization and job roles are executed by your direct reports
- Ensure that your direct reports treat all equipment with care and attention to ensure that equipment and stock is well preserved (this is inclusive of proper housekeeping 5S)
- Coordinate all type of maintenance activities in the warehouse with the maintenance department
- Assure product conformity by fulfilling hygiene requirements as far as department is concerned
- Responsible to report any risks identified for Quality and Food Safety Management where food contact product is produced in the plant.
- Ensure on-going awareness of Quality, Food Safety, Environmental and Health and Safety Management
- Ensure that personnel in the department are trained and comply with all HSE measures (safety guards, PPE, etc)

**What makes you great**:

- Min Matric and related tertiary qualification
- Min. 3 years of experience in Warehousing/Supply Management
- Supervisory experience required, preferably in Warehousing, Planning and Logistics
- Lead and guide his staff including the responsibility of recruiting, on-boarding, training, planning, reviewing etc
- Very good computer skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Safety awareness and quality consciousness
