Brand and Communications Manager

The Brand and Communications Manager plays a pivotal role in developing and maintaining the corporate identity and product brand(s) of our client, Building Performance. They are responsible for overseeing all internal and external communication platforms, including social media, advertising, marketing collateral, newsletters, events, and websites, to strategically position Building Performance as the preferred organization.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement marketing collateral and branding materials to support business initiatives.
- Ensure brand compliance, including correct branding on corporate stationery and marketing collateral.
- Collaborate with local teams to plan and execute stakeholder communication strategies that add value to the business and drive sales.
- Coordinate with external communication agencies to align their performance with the business's focus areas.
- Manage all digital assets, including websites, social media platforms, adverts, newsletters, and brochures.
- Focus on social media management, including SEO, data analytics, and content strategy.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer targets to ensure the relevance of communications.
- Uphold leadership principles and demonstrate the organization's values through metrics such as retention and employee engagement.
- Continuously improve and develop necessary skills for effective role performance.
- Adhere to company processes, controls, and responsible use of company property.
- Promote a positive company image in the marketplace and serve as a role model to colleagues.
- Perform other tasks as requested by the Line Manager.

**Education and Experience**:

- Matric
- Degree in Marketing/Brand Management and/or Communication
- 3-4 years of Social Media experience
- PR agency experience preferred
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in brand communications
- Technical awareness, including an understanding of applicable building regulations, is advantageous

Pay: R701 000,00 per year
