Accountability: Risk management - Ensure compliance with the OHS Act

Implementation of an Ergonomics Standard and related controls for Absa Group Limited.
- Conduct Ergonomics Risk Assessments
- Creating an awareness of Ergonomics
- Identifying ergonomic risk factors or problems
- Analyse and interprets findings for ergonomics investigations
- Make appropriate recommendations for ergonomics changes

Education and Experience Required

Undergraduate degree of no less than three years
Ergonomics education: total 360 hours
0-1 years’ experience in ergonomics, preferably in banking industry or corporate industry.
Effective communication skills, written and oral.
Computer literacy in Office Applications

Knowledge & Skills: (Maximum of 6)
Good knowledge of the Ergonomics
A command of methodologies used in ergonomics - Risk management
Must be very analytical to identify risks
Oral and written communication
Self-motivated and take ownership.
Good planning
Adhering to principles and values
Professional and ethical behaviour

Special work requirements: Travel local (Corporate Sites & Branches)

Most complex decision that can be taken without referral to the manager: Anything pertaining to the OHS Acts and associated legislation. This is a
specialised field and the only staff members with the required OHS qualifications are the OHS Department. Information provided must be correct
