**B-BBEE Specialist**
**purpose**

The Mr Price Sustainability Department is seeking a highly organized, disciplined, self-motivated and confident individual with a thorough knowledge of B-BBEE for a permanent B-BBBEE Specialist role. Accountable for enabling Group B-BBEE compliance in terms of the relevant legislation, regulations and codes, you will guide business in support of the delivery of the Group's strategy.
**key responsibilities**

**Reporting into the Head of Sustainability, you will**:

- Manage the annual B-BBEE verification process for the Group including all related risk and compliance tasks
- Exercise best practice in order to achieve desired compliance levels through providing technical expertise related to the Codes of Good Practice (the Code) and manage the B-BBEE verification process for the Group
- Provide advice and consult with all relevant stakeholders to agree and deliver B-BBEE initiatives
- Create B-BBEE awareness through multiple channels
- Project manage and/or facilitate the implementation of B-BBEE initiatives according to plan
**requirements**

**Education**
- Management Development Program in B-BBEE and/or equivalent
- Degree (BCom, BSc or Law) advantageous Experience
- 5 years’ experience within the B-BBEE environment/in managing a B-BBEE role for a large company

**Knowledge/Skills**
- Computer literate (Microsoft Suite)
- Organized
- Strong communication (written & verbal)
- Proactive
- High on delivery
- Collaborative team player
