As the Production Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the manufacturing process and the consistent delivery of exceptional products.

Ashanti Design is seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to oversee and optimize the production process. Reporting to top management, you will collaborate with floor managers, department managers, and other key stakeholders to ensure efficient production operations, meet quality standards, and comply with safety and industry regulations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement comprehensive production plans on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
- Manage product costs and assist in new product costings, ensuring cost-effective production practices.
- Analyse budgets, monitor production costs, identify areas of waste, and implement measures for waste reduction.
- Supervise all activities within the production process, including maintenance and workforce management.
- Source, order, and organize raw materials required for production.
- Lead and manage teams within the production departments (total of 25 people), providing first-level HR management to address minor disputes and maintain a harmonious work environment.
- Identify opportunities for organizational and production changes at the operational level, contributing to the growth and revenue of the business.

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication, numeracy, and computer literacy skills, with proficiency in Excel.
- Strong people management skills, including the ability to motivate and lead teams effectively.
- Proven ability to identify potential problems and implement preventive strategies to minimize risks.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills, fostering trust and collaboration among various teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with different departments and external suppliers.
- Customer-centric mindset, always considering the end result in the production process.
- Results-oriented with a focus on meeting deadlines.

**Qualifications**:

- Additional qualification in Production or Operations is preferred.
- Technical qualification related to the manufacturing industry is also preferred.

We're looking for someone that has a minimum of 5 years of production management experience.
