**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team, ensuring compliance with safety standards and best practices.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs and implement corrective actions.
- Manage maintenance schedules, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources effectively to minimize downtime.
- Utilize CMMS for tracking work orders, inventory management, and reporting on maintenance activities.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members on maintenance procedures, schematics interpretation, and equipment operation.
- Oversee the fabrication of parts as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Collaborate with other departments for project management initiatives related to facility improvements or upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including the use of tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics.
- Drive the maintenance and reliability initiative focused on Preventive & Predictive Maintenance, not reactive maintenance.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in maintenance management within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- 10+ years experience
- Bachelors degree in mechanical or equivalent in trade/ millwright.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including logic controllers and schematics.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Familiarity with project management principles to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in English with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Pay: R650 000,00 - R750 000,00 per year

- Edenvale, Gauteng 1609 (preferred)
