Johannesburg sales manager
The lead sales role at Coalition Trading Co will spearhead our efforts to rapidly expand our client base within Johannesburg and promote the companies eco-friendly packaging range to South Africa’s food-to-go market. You will be responsible for communicating the brands core principles with respective clients as well as managing the entire sales process.
You will have the opportunity to evolve our sales journey and process, manage potential leads, conduct sales calls, and showcase products, as well as play an active role in growing out our Johannesburg branch. You will need to be proactive in approaching potential clients and creative in converting leads. We expect you to be able to communicate our products effectively as well as operate in a competitive environment. Experience in the packaging space is valuable, but not a must.
Run and manage the sales function
Manage and grow the Johannesburg sales team
Help develop a sales strategy focused on closing sales
Find innovative methods to generate leads
Have a comprehensive understanding of all the products offered.
Act as an ambassador for the company, consistently communicating the companies brand image and principles.
Relentlessly drive sales and experiment with innovative ways to improve conversion
Communicate pricing effectively with clients.
Constantly on the road visiting prospective and current clients.
Help build the companies Johannesburg branch.
**Requirements**:
Four+ years experience in a sales role.
Confidence and ability to communicate and sell a vision; not just a product or service.
Experienced in selling FMCG products.
Must have a car.
