KEY FOCUS AREAS
**Brand Custodian & Storyteller**
- To be the brand custodian (MFC and all brands including the MORE Field Guide College, MORE Orchids, Nakavango within the Collection) and ensure the relevant CI is being correctly applied through all layers within the Company.
**Lead Generation**
- Devising and executing marketing initiatives to generate new business leads to support the company direct revenue strategy.
- Develop, implement and oversee long-term digital marketing campaigns as well as short-term advertising techniques.
- Develop digital marketing strategy by studying economic indicators, tracking changes in supply and demand, identifying customers and their current and future needs, and monitoring the competition.
- Evaluate important metrics provided by the digital analyst that affect our website traffic, service quotas, and target audience whilst drawing important insights of/from our audiences.
- Website: Review/Screen/Audit website continuously including blogs, copy, imagery, pdf packages, rates, as well as reporting.
- Website: Optimization, traffic to website, lead generation, language/images/call to action, trade portal, best of breed.
- Understanding and managing a UX experience so that the platforms remain in flux of meeting the changing needs/behaviours of the guest.
**Digital Platforms & Systems**
- Developing and implementing a digital strategy that aligns with the company's overall business goals.
- Managing the company's digital systems and platforms, including websites, e-commerce systems, content management systems, customer relationship management systems (trade and customer databases NOT Lodge/Hotel CRM systems), the MFCC B2C system and the MFC customer loyalty system.
- Conducting regular audits of the company's digital systems to identify areas for improvement and making recommendations for changes and upgrades.
- Ensuring that all digital systems are integrated and working seamlessly to meet the needs of the business.
- Ensuring that the company's digital systems comply with data privacy and security regulations.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and trends, and making recommendations for the adoption of new technologies that can benefit the business.
- Collaborating with other departments, sales, finance, HR and operations to ensure that the company's digital systems support the company's overall goals and objectives.
**Design, Print & Production**
- Managing a team of digital specialists, including designers, developers, and content creators both internal and external and including all staff within the Marketing Department.
- Traditional design and print work required by all departments within MFC with specific reference to revenue trade and operations.
- Operations - stationery (letterheads gratuity envelops etc), guest touches (welcome notes, celebrations, special events (Christmas, valentine’s day).
**Communication & PR**
- Develop and maintain the company communication strategy inclusive of CEO and crisis communication needs of the Company.
- Target and/or verify any request for/from print or digital influencer personalities.
- Reputation management (Trip Advisor, Expedia etc) of all brands online and offline.
- Targeting key PR sources both traditional print and online to defend and grow brand awareness support Revenue goals of the Company within an agreed budget.
**Finance**
- Developing and managing marketing department’s annual budget and work with the Group Financial Manager to ensure the most optimal operating cost structure.
**Reporting**
- Measure, preparing and present on performance of digital marketing campaigns, insights and assess against business goals - reporting to CEO and relevant executives.
- Prepare accurate reports on our marketing campaign’s overall performance to achieve measurability against the Company goals.
REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Grade 12 (essential)
- Relevant Degree in Marketing / Brand Communication
- MS Office Suite proficient & knowledge of global travel (essential)
- 5 years in a similar role / agency with industry relevant experience
- A quick innovative thinker with great people skills, diplomacy and able to remain focused but professional.
- A proven track record and portfolio of successful campaigns.
