**The opportunity**:
An exciting opportunity has become available within the Publishing portfolio.
The main purpose of the job is to assist the Brand Manager within the relevant Publishing portfolio, with a key focus on Administration.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist with the sign off of magazine editorial, advertising and marketing material/visuals/communication to ensure they meet marketing objectives and brief
- Assisting with the communication and marketing material both internally (i.e. stores, Head Office) and externally (brands, advertising agency)
- Assist with events, focus groups, ad hoc brand activations, prizes, incentive drives and competitions
- Quality check and ensure that all product documents and information adhere to legislation
- Processing of invoices
- Compiling presentations in PowerPoint and reports in Excel
- Assisting with the content for the Website and social media
- Management of competitions and the database for products
- Ensuring a high level of customer service and customer queries are dealt with accordingly
- General office administration and house-keeping.
**Requirements**:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Marketing related qualification degree /diploma (Advantageous)
- Min 6months Marketing Administration experience
- Excellent organisational and coordinating skills
- Numerical ability
- High attention to detail
- High energy and enthusiasm levels
- Ability to work under pressure in a deadline driven environment
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Computer literacy in Word, Excel and PowerPoint (Intermediate to Advanced)
