The main purpose of this role to is to coordinate Foschini marketing activities relating to business & campaign objectives across all marketing channels, with a particular focus on digital and social media channels. The role spans across fashion & beauty, but with a greater focus on the beauty area of the business. The marketing coordinator compiles the brief from the business objectives and working alongside the creative & content team manages the campaign - from brief to post campaign analysis where applicable. The coordinator liaises with many stakeholders both internally and externally to ensure well executed and effective campaigns.

**Responsibilities**:

- Formulating monthly campaign objectives and digital content plan across fashion & beauty based on marketing & promotional calendar
- Coordination and execution of adhoc marketing activities (new store openings, media activations, CRM campaigns, mall advertising, events)
- Ensuring all marketing material signed-off according to agreed brief by all stakeholders
- Reporting on campaign results and providing insights to allow for data lead content decisions
- Monthly management meeting report(campaign, ROI, Rewards offers, upcoming campaigns, updating marketing calendar, status update on other projects)
- Coordinating all Foschini Beauty product and price copy for in store and online
- Sign-off of all Foschini Beauty Instagram content & support for community management
- Liaising with Customer service, logging of daily complaints & online reputation management
- Plan & share branded content across external partner social media channels (malls, media titles, etc)
- Work within campaign budget, raise supplier invoices on Coupa and to ensure invoices are processed and paid timeously
- Feedback on Competitor analysis & opportunities
- Trending topics & relevant news/ opportunities
- Running with Customer and internal facing support for Foschini’s Force For Good Fund

**Requirements**:

- 2 to 4 years marketing coordination experience
- Tertiary degree or 3-year diploma in Marketing/ Brand Management/ Digital Marketing or similar is essential.
- Love fashion, retail and passionate about empowering the women of South Africa. Strong understanding of brand management, consumer behaviour and pop culture.
- Strategic thinker: able to identify opportunities, unpacking insights and interpret data to support the brands strategic objections.
- Knowledge and experience of online technology and have utilised social, digital, event marketing, influencers, PR channels and in-store marketing to grow brands
- The ability to keep abreast of content and consumer trends and advancements in technology.
- Comfortable with the use of and ability to learn new digital technologies and media tactics. An understanding of web analytics, tracking and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills including written and verbal communication, written grammar and spelling.
