Position available for a Distribution Clerk. Join the Takealot/Mr D Food delivery team in Modimolle. Within a great working environment, we are seeking an individual who is driven and hard-working in managing the flow of inbound goods and outbound goods of a warehouse, as well as coordinate deliveries and customer collections.

**Qualifications and experience**:

- National Senior Certificate or Higher
- Must be computer literate and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Minimum 6- 12 months within the customer service experience
- Flexibility to work rotational shifts which include weekends, public holidays and night shifts as required by the business operation

**Responsibilities include**:

- Use of POD scanners and recording on server
- Allocation of goods for each driver aligned to the delivery schedule
- Attention to detail and ability to differentiate packages
- Collaborate with administrative supervisor to list expected deliveries
- Receive milk runs and sign paperwork upon receipt
- Unload packages from incoming trucks and ensure returns going out are sealed and accounted for
- Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged
- Verify packages according to the waybill
- Assume responsibility for returning parcels returned by customers or receiving parcels for deliveries
- Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place and delivery schedule date where possible
- Ensure waybills are signed for satisfactory milk runs
- Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control
- Coordinate receival, dispatch, deliveries and collections of parcels.
- May perform other duties as assigned
