Inside Sales Business Development Representative

Passionate about sales? We’re looking for an Inside Sales Business Development Representative to work with passionate and vibrant individuals in Germiston where you’ll supervise the end-to-end sales process and be responsible for achieving and exceeding monthly sales targets in a sales and service environment.

In this role, you’ll plan, control and implement sales processes, run sales and promotional campaigns in line with the business strategy along with being responsible for the maintenance of customer/client data on SAP and CRM systems. (system training will be provided)
Being a good communicator won’t cut the list for this role, we want people who can hear what isn’t said, offering support to customers/clients long before their concerns become problems.
You’ll be responsible for handling sales queries in a professional and courteous manner; confidently building and maintaining customer/client relations and identifying opportunities across multiple platforms.
Working as part of a team within a fast-paced environment, you’ll have the opportunity to earn commission on a tired basis based on your targets and individual performance. You will also receive (CRM and SAP) systems training that is sure to enable your career progression in the industry.
What you’ll be doing
- Supervising the end-to-end sales process
- Achieving and exceeding monthly KPI’s and sales targets
- Approaching new and existing customers/clients
- Managing key customer/client accounts, maintaining and updating data on CRM/SAP systems e.g. signing up or renewing new/existing contracts
- Building and nurturing long-term customer and client relationships
- Planning, controlling and implementing sales processes, running sales and promotional campaigns
- Developing and maintaining current knowledge of the campaign
- Managing all customer/client queries, ensuring first contact resolution at all times
What you’ll need
- Matric / NQF levels (Essential)
- Excellent command of English language: verbal, written, presentation and professional business communication
- Good typing, analytical and time management skills
- Completed professional education or relevant work experience in a sales role (B2B) over the last 1-2 years min
- Effective team player with a positive attitude
- Strong telecommunication and negotiation skills including cold calling experience
- Sales talent and affinity of sales topics
- Flexibility and the ability to keep a cool head in stressful situation
- Clear credit, disciplinary and criminal records
