Artisan Assistant

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- The ideal applicant will possess the following:

- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- Relevant mechanical qualification is an advantage.
- Sound experience in related workshops.
- Service, workshop repairs on heavy duty and light/medium vehicle.
- Experience in maintenance and repairs of heavy-duty vehicles.
- Positive team player.

**JOB OUTPUTS**
- Carry out routine maintenance as required on all vehicle brands.
- Test engines and other automotive components.
- Plan and work with team to ensure targets are met.
- Adhering to workshop health and safety procedures.
- Ensure required quality standard are met and maintained.
- Repairs of vehicles in accordance with specified OEM works instructions, drawings, build and quality procedures and requirements.
- Assist with the monitoring and maintenance of measuring equipment and instruments.

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Maintenance of IVECO heavy duty vehicles: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Artisan Diesel Mechanic Trade Test (required)
