- Participate within a team to contribute towards the teams’ objectives
- Conduct and document system, functional and scenario testing of development
- Conduct root cause analysis and use judgement and prior learnings to identify the issue and propose the best solution
- Ensure quality assurance methodology is followed
- Adhere to the Software Development Life Cycle
- Analyse effectiveness and usage of initiatives
- Innovate by keeping up to date/abreast with the technological world, new products and IT industry challenges
- Demonstrate the ability to interact with business stakeholders and users, to gain consensus, build relationships to maintain user confidence;
- Gather requirements by conducting and following the business analysis process and documenting these requirements
- Able to determine the requirements for an enhanced system or a new system;
- Show a continual improvement mind set by analysing and innovating in all areas of responsibility
- Management of 3rd parties to ensure business delivery timeline and requirements are met;
- Ensure system integrations are automated where possible and seamless
- Ensure the system is accessible
- Manage and maintain security
- Ensure the system is user-friendly, reliable and consistent;
- Facilitate effective training for system users
- Generate and update relevant training material
- May be required to participate in and/or manage projects from time to time
- Facilitate and participate in meetings
- Participate in industry user groups and forums.**Inherent Requirements**
- Matric Certificate with Mathematics
- Relevant Human Resources diploma or degree.
- Three (3) - Five (5) years’ Super-User experience: configuration; integration management and user support
- Three (3) - Five (5) years’ Human Resource or Payroll system experience
- System Support experience advantageous
- Kronos system experience will be advantageous
- Advanced Microsoft Office
- Basic understanding of SQL language advantageous
- Knowledge and experience of system testing methodology
- Training facilitation experience.
