**Job Purpose**

The Data Analytics Audit role will be responsible for developing scripts for Internal Audit data mining activities, including developing and implementing CAATS (Computer Assisted Audit Techniques) auditing programmes, analyses, investigations and reporting of the results; to support both field-based audit projects that provide independent objective assurance and consultative audits to ensure the effectiveness and adequacy of risk management processes, controls and reporting in line with approved audit plans, audit methodologies, King IV and the IIA Standards.

**Education required**

Formal qualification specialising in Computer Science, Information Systems, Informatics or Information Technology

**Experience required**
- 3 years’ experience in data mining and analytics
- Experience in an IT audit environment is advantageous
- Knowledge of database design structures and query languages
- Experience with relevant data analytical tools in performing complex data analytics and scripting is essential, e.g., SQL, SAS, ACL, IDEA or similar

- Diploma (required)
