We are looking for a Senior System Administrator in the Blockchain sector, South Africa
The task at hand involves the construction, enhancement, and upkeep of clusters consisting of blockchain daemons and consensus nodes. These clusters are to be established in a manner that is not only scalable but also highly secure. To achieve this objective, a combination of containerized and virtualized environments will be utilized.
The administration of LINUX, specifically the DEBIAN variant, is crucial in this endeavor. Understanding its intricacies and being capable of efficiently managing it will contribute significantly to the success of the project. Furthermore, a proficient understanding of WINDOWS administration is required.
Equally important is network administration, which involves expertise in various areas such as SDWAN, VLAN, LAN, and FIREWALL. These elements are vital for ensuring a seamless and secure network environment for the blockchain clusters.
In addition to the technical aspects, the role also encompasses the administration of CRM, HELPDESK, and MAIL systems. Efficiently managing these systems is crucial to maintaining smooth communication and customer support within the blockchain infrastructure.
Furthermore, the implementation of robust monitoring tools is essential for overseeing the stability of the blockchain infrastructure. This can be achieved through the utilization of monitoring tools such as Grafana and Prometheus. These tools provide valuable insights and allow for proactive management to ensure the smooth operation of the blockchain clusters.
