**Job Purpose**
- To manage (end to end) the strategy; planning; organising; negotiating; staffing directing and controlling of all aspects of projects or programmes for a portfolio in ensuring the successful implementation of IT Projects and to realise the business cluster strategy. Provides expert advice and counsel to functional/ and non functional user personnel and project teams on the most complex aspects of integration of logical groupings of technologies.To facilitate agreed solution and ensure the solution meets business requirements with mínimal impact to the stability of the IT environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Adopt and execute according to the Nedbank nWoW Delivery Approach
- Manage and deliver all innovation and business as usual initiatives/work requests for the entrusted delivery team.
- The deliverables must be delivered within the agreed scope, budget and timelinesPlan, direct and co-ordinate all delivery team activities in terms of strategic projects, small medium enhancements and business as usual. Important to explain that Teams execute all following the principles of YBYRYO.
- Conform to the necessary PM disciplines and programme/project governance. Taking into account GIA expectations in terms of scope, change, risk and issue management.
- Monitor and report on delivery progress in bi-weekly ART Sync, Scrum Master Stand-up and other required project/operation meetings. Preparing necessary reports and dashboards required.
- Run delivery team agile ceremonies such as Daily Stand-ups, Iteration Planning, Backlog Refinement/Grooming, Iteration Retrospect and Team Reviews/Demos.
- Ensure the team works on the right tasks at the right time, working closely with the team TPO and other Teams (for incoming delivery requests) to translate epics, stories, and other items on the sprint list into actionable tasks for the delivery team.
- Ensure that all JIRA epics, stories and other issues types are linked to ensure correct targeted recovery flow from a financial perspective.
- In conjunction with the team TPO, monitor the delivery team time capture and month end Tempo time approvals. Take into account delivery team recovery targets for both innovation and business as usual.
- Work with the team TPO and prepare all necessities for quarterly PI Planning. These include the facilitation of Team feedback presentations/demos, break away sessions, dependency identification/engagements and planning delivery/feedback through the PI Planning cycles. Take into account organisational priorities when planning especially where demand outweighs capacity. Keep in mind delivery team recovery targets.
- Identify and facilitate actions in terms of evolving the delivery team’s agile maturity through the utilisation of the Team and Technical Assessment and DEVOPS Assessments.
- Play an active role in providing mentorship and coaching on agile best practices to the delivery team members
- Ensure self and team improve on productivity and efficiency month on month
- Optimise the effectiveness of resources through modelling capacity requirements across full portfolio and by understanding and communicating impact of capacity requirements
- Ensure effective optimisation of systems, processes and technology by doing route cause analysis and taking corrective action- Ensure optimal team delivery by considering and making amendments to processes, structures, operating models and business plans
- Deliver a world class service through others by ensuring a client centric culture through required interventions. Identify areas of resource inefficiencies and promote optimisation through promoting multi-skilling and addressing capacity gaps by reviewing and improving work processes
- Maintain effective and productive relationships maintained with vendors
- Mitigate Project risks by identifying possible risks and raising it at the appropriate forums
- Ensure work delivery by effective planning of a programme of projects and related activities**Essential Qualifications - NQF Level**
- Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate

**Preferred Qualification**
- Matric and relevant tertiary qualification
- MMP or equivalent**Minimum Experience Level**
- 10 - 15 years' experience in an IT environment (across IT disciplines)- As well as experience in SAFe Agile, Technical Governance, Product Management, Project Management, PI Planning, Release and Change Management
