**Franchise Retail Operations Manager**

**Waterfall KZN**

**Overall Key Focus of the role**:
Enhancing the overall business performance simultaneously whilst being responsible for implementing effective strategies to ensure the smooth delivery of quality services and products to the customer/end user.

**Key/Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- **Management of senior staff** at the various regional locations
- **Managing Budgets and Expenditure**
- **Hiring and Training** of staff
- **Plan and design Training programs and mitigating training interventions with support team.**
- **Monitoring Compliance** in accordance with the specific laws and regulations.
- **Ensuring Safety** at all times of staff and customers within the retail environment, this includes quality control and internal hygiene audits.
- **Maintain a strong inventory** of all suppliers and rental items to ensure accuracy and identify shortages in advance.
- **Capacity planning** to ensure future operational needs and design plan that will assist in meeting these needs by scaling resources to assist the business growth and expansion.
- **Strategic **_**planning**_ which includes being able to analyse the data quickly and effectively so decisions can be made.
- _**A comprehensive understanding** of all support departments and their integrative role within the operations portfolio and strategy.
- **Experience and Qualification**:_
- _**3-5 years operational management experience**_ _(This needs to encompass the role of an operational manager in its entirety which includes project management, business management, financial management, human resources, facilities management, information technology._
- _**1-2 years’ experience**_ _within a franchise environment._
- _**Relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous.**_
