As a Senior Creative at Team5pm in Cape Town, you are the creative owner of projects and responsible from treatment to final delivery. Your role goes beyond providing creative input; it's about finding the right words, crafting an effective script, and creating a story that exceeds our clients' expectations. You'll ensure the quality of the produced content and verify that it aligns with the creative concept.
Additionally, you'll be responsible for creating the shotlist for filming days. During production, you may act as a director. You'll be present on filming days to oversee quality and content and resolve any unforeseen issues. In the post-production, you have an active role in the edit.
Another crucial aspect of your role is actively coaching and developing team members in the (post-production) studio. You'll offer support, guidance, and feedback to editors to strengthen their skills and competencies.

**Here’s what you’ll bring as our dream Senior Creative in Cape Town**:
- 7+ years of relevant **agency** experience, preferably at a **video or advertising agency**;
- Experience in leadership and strong communication skills;
- Strong people skills;
- Extensive experience in post-production and editing;
- Excellent writing skills with a passion for crafting engaging and persuasive content;
- A keen sense of language and storytelling, including narrative structures, character development, and creating tension arcs;
- A creative mind for original concepts and innovative storytelling techniques;
- Analytical thinking for optimizing content strategies;
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken;
- You are Cape Town based.
