Our Cape Town office is looking for a **Mid-Level TTL Copywriter** with specialities in both ATL and Digital to join our Creative Team. - Has proven cut-throat writing skills to work on a large national Retail brand - Able to work across various target markets, platforms and channels - A proven understanding of retail brands - Keeps a cool head and delivers exceptional results under pressure, against fast and tight deadlines and in volume - Able to work collaboratively in a team and is resourceful; focused and level-headed **Requirements**: - At least 3 years’ experience in advertising, publishing, marketing etc for a proven track record across multiple digital channels. - Relevant tertiary education from a reputable tertiary institution. - Excellent writing ability, including the ability to write in different styles and to other people's direction. delivering clear, attractive copy with a distinct brand voice. - Knowledge of the digital landscape, specifically social platforms & its relevant features (Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, etc) as well as e-commerce platforms, along with the ability to tailor the content and style of individual writing briefs according to their purpose and platform. - Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements. - Collaborate with designers, PR and other professionals on large - and small-scale marketing projects and work with creative teams to ensure that the visual elements of the webpage complement the words. - Must be able to conduct high-quality research. - Must have a creative approach, both in coming up with ideas for new projects and for getting a specific message across innovatively. - Have an understanding and experience with SEO principles, as well as social media and CMS best practices. - Knowledge of online content strategy and creation. - Understanding of important metrics (stats like bounce rates, etc.) **Personal skills & attributes**: - Good attention to detail - Strong interpersonal skills as you'll be working with a range of creatives and marketing team members - Able to multitask, work to tight deadlines, and follow agency process - Fully immersed in fashion, culture & other lifestyle trends - Excellent time-management and organizational skills - Work ethic: Should be able to describe oneself as “_Committed, reliable, passionate, self-motivated, flexible, adaptable, team player_" - Flexible to work outside of normal working hours (overtime if and when required) We remain committed to the principles of employment equity.
